With the frostings, I tend to just transfer the frosting into a bowl and wrap well with plastic wrap and store it in the fridge. These cupcakes are very almondy. I was afraid that during baking, that it would rip or cause the cup to unfold, but it did not. If you are super concerned, add another 1/4 cup of flour to the recipe.

These cupcakes are great for the winter season and pair well with an Italian themed dinner.
